Lead Designer

Providence is looking for a creative, innovative and technically competent lead designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop online concepts & strategy for marketing communications
   
• Create ‘out-of-the-box’ online advertising & direct marketing concepts
   
• Conceptualize and develop other online solutions: interactive websites, micro sites, promotions & applications
   
• Create and develop animated multimedia sequences
   
• Manage internal creative team and external creative and technical resources

Essential Skills

• 3-5+ years industry experience
• Varied folio of work
• Strong HTML and Actionscripting
• Strong conceptualization skills with a tireless imagination
• Professional experience in digital imaging software, drawing tools, layout tools and other creative tools such as Flash, Photoshop & Illustrator
• Solid technical understanding of the interactive environment
• Solid drawing skills – must be able to visualize, storyboard and wire frame

Preferred Skills

• Creative writing and content creation
• An appreciation and understanding of programming and back-end systems

Experience

Have worked on a variety of projects such as micro sites, games, online advertising (the more innovative the better), emailers, contests, websites, and banners.

Full-time employment position - Rate to be negotiated
