Project
Manager
Providence is looking for a Project Manager to product
manage and direct the development efforts of a number of
software development projects.
The
successful candidate will liaise with marketing and
assist the business development manager in identifying
key market opportunities so as to add value in it's
efforts. They will be require to engage with the
lead developer, designers, system administrators and
database administrators to ensure smooth delivery of
project from conception to final release.
The
applicant should be ready to consider the role as an
opportunity to get involved on the ground floor and
build awareness of an existing company with a great
vision and a genuine value proposition.
The
successful applicant could expect their appointment to
eventually develop and lead into the role of Product
Manager.

Requirements:
The
applicant should:
-
Have an interest in working in a small team
environment where his or her actions, opinions and
work have direct and lasting affects.

Have at least 5 years experience in the IT and/or
Communications and/or Business Consulting fields.

An understanding of technology and software as it
relates to business automation and systems.

Have an understanding of current Technology trends
(both local and overseas) and their application to
the Australian market.

Be comfortable with public speaking for seminars,
workshops and training.

Have a friendly, outgoing and personable personality
with an ability to communicate technology ideas and
their application to business processes.

Be comfortable in identifying and pursuing 'cold'
opportunities and following them through to their
successful conclusion.

Have an interest in, experience with and ideas for
'out-of-the-box' business growth ideas that they
themselves can implement and pursue.

Have experience in one or more of the following
Business Development endeavours.

Relationship building with retail partners
-
Partnership programs and schemes
-
Tendering for both Corporate and Government
-
Consultation and implementation of business
systems
